9 Money-Saving Christmas Traditions

This week, I’ve teamed up with FinancesforFamilies.com to bring you the best money-saving Christmas traditions. Don’t miss a beat – keep reading!

Christmas is almost here! A time for celebrating with our families and friends, for giving and receiving, and for parading around in your tackiest Christmas sweater (think flashing lights, tinsel and holiday puns all in one garment). However, if you’re like most American families, it’s also a time for overspending.

Did you know the average US shopper spends over $900 during the festive season?

And shoppers with children often spend even more than that! Between spending money on Chia pets and new socks to wrap and put under the tree and standing in line for hours to pay for an overpriced picture of your kids with Santa, the costs can really add up.

If you’re struggling to make ends meet this year for Christmas, you’re not alone. But even while your gift list keeps growing, creating family memories doesn’t have to break the bank. There are so many fun, frugal Christmas traditions for families!

Click here to see my top nine favorite ways to create magical Christmas memories without breaking the bank.

    Hello ,

I saw your tweets and thought I will check your website. Have to say it looks very good!
I’m also interested in this topic and have recently started my journey as young entrepreneur.

I’m also looking for the ways on how to promote my website. I have tried AdSense and Facebok Ads, however it is getting very expensive. Was thinking about starting using analytics. Do you recommend it?
Can you recommend something what works best for you?

I also want to improve SEO of my website. Would appreciate, if you can have a quick look at my website and give me an advice what I should improve: http://janzac.com/
(Recently I have added a new page about FutureNet and the way how users can make money on this social networking portal.)

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Hope to hear from you soon.

    P.S.
Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?

    Regards
    Jan Zac

Hi Jan, Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts! I spend more time on SEO than on paid promotion for my website, though at some point I’ll have to pursue paid ads, I suppose. I do use Google Analytics and find it helpful! I looked at your website and it looks great – the layout is clean and the content is helpful. I’m always open to swapping guest-posts… send me an email or hit me up on FB or Twitter and we can share ideas for articles on each other’s sites to improve backlinking for SEO 🙂 – Amy
